Rick and Morty is an adult animated sci-fi sitcom that follows the misadventures of Rick Sanchez, a cynical, nihilistic mad scientist, and his anxious but good-hearted teenage grandson, Morty Smith.  The show balances mind-bending, interdimensional sci-fi action with grounded family drama, taking the duo to parallel realities and strange planets.
